Bill Cowher's Weekly News Conference And Injury Report
Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Bill Cowher gave his weekly update on the teams progress and went on to explain the injuries to key players. According to the coach, the Steelers will be without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (knee) for the second game in a row. Charlie Batch will start again and hopfully will have gained some valuable experience from Sunday's game with the Packers. It looks like running back Duce Staley will start in place of injured Willie Parker (ankle) and Jerome Bettis (quadriceps). Other injuries include LB James Farrior (knee), LB Joey Porter (knee, LB Clark Haggans (groin) and LB James Harrison (knee). the coach also voices some concerns about the teams performance.
