Reserves Among Heroes of Steelers Win Over Packers!
It wasn't a great performance, but it was a win! The Pittsburgh Steelers plagued with injuries and needing a victory to keep pace the division leading Bengals, played hard and prevailed 20-10. Third string quarterback Charlie Batch, in his first start since 2001, managed the team well enough to not lose. Duce Staley came off the bench for the first time in almost a year and racked up 76 yards and a touchdown. The highlight of the game came when strong safety Troy Polamalu picked up a Brett Favre fumble and ran it back for his 2nd career TD as the Packers were on the verge of scoring. Then reserve Tyrone Carter intercepted a pass to set up the Steelers offense's only touchdown. Get the rest of the story.
