The Steelers Have A Good Shot At The Upset!
Besides being 1 of only 3 teams in the NFL that Peyton Manning hasn't beaten, the Steelers can look at some other statistics and glean hope of an upset. The Pittsburgh Steelers themselves are the most recent team to get close to having an undefeated season by going (15-1) in 2004. They defeated two undefeated teams in back to back weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles and the eventual Super Bowl champion, New England Patriots. The (10-0) Indianapolis Colts have only played 3 teams that had winning records. The 1972 Miami Dolphins, the only undefeated team in NFL history, played a schedule with 2 less games and went (14-0) plus winning throughout the playoffs and the Super Bowl. The Steelers are playing to win their divsion and are healthier than they have been in weeks. They beat Peyton Manning and the Colts in 2002 by a score of 28-10. So, despite the hype, no one really knows what will happen until they play the game. Go Steelers! Get the rest of the story.
