The Steelers Are Running Low On Rushing Yards!
The Pittsburgh Steelers running game, once one of the best in the NFL, has become pretty amemic lately. At 130.2 yard per game this year, they are well below their 2nd place 154 yards per game last season. They abandoned the run early in Sunday's game with Baltimore passing 44 times and only running 22. What a difference a quarterback makes! I know they have had injuries at the running back position, but when a running back like Willie Parker has great speed, you need to get the ball to him any way you can. More screens, shuttle passes, option plays, quick slants, anything! In Pittsburghs three losses to New England, Jacksonville and Baltimore, they had under 100 total yard rushing. No wonder they lost. Get the rest of the story.
