Bill Cowher's Weekly Conference. Hear What the Coach Has to Say.
Pittsburgh Steelers coach, Bill Cowher began by addressing the fact that other teams contacting some of his assistants for head coaching vacancies. Next he gave an injury report where he disclosed that wide receiver, Quincy Morgan has a season ending broken leg. He responded to concerns of playing with the noise factor in the RCA dome and how his team will deal with it. Also he gave hints to some of the stategies the Steelers will employ, such as using the no huddle offense. He wants to show a balanced attack, taking what their defense will give and establish the line of scrimage. He wants to try to diminish the Colts big play capability. The Pittsburgh Steelers commited 10 peanalties that last time they play Indianapolis and 5 of those were for false starts. They've been working hard on a silent count to overcome the noise. He talked about the stradegy that the San Diego Chargers used to defeat the Colts. They focused on stoppin james and pressuring Peyton Manning. Hear the whole 30 minute conference.
