The Bus Lands In MoTown Today As The Stelers Prepare For Super Bowl XL !
The Pittsburgh Steelers may have left the Steel City, but it will look a lot like home when they touch down in the Motor City today. The NFL has designated the Pittsburgh Steelers as the home team for Super Bowl XL and by the number of Steeler fans expected to swarm into Detroit it may look like a Heinz Field crowd. Steelers fan have always traveled well. The last time Pittsburgh made it to the Super Bowl, 10 years ago, the Phoenix area was loaded with Pittsburgh supporters. And that was against Dallas - you know, America's Team. Fans wearing Bettis and Roethlisberger jerseys are everywhere and this week the numbers will swell into a sea of black and gold. Super Bowl XL may be a home game for the Steelers, the team will be wearing their white . Let's hope they continue their road war and bring the Lombardi Trophy to their real home, Pittsburgh.
